Qatar Airways launches 25% Avios discount for October 2026
Qatar Airways has launched its October 2026 Privilege Deals, offering a 25% discount on Avios for award flights to and from specific cities.

Qatar Airways has launched its October 2026 Privilege Deals, offering a 25% discount on Avios for selected award flights. This third monthly batch provides significant savings for bookings made between 5 and 14 October, with travel required by 30 November.
How the discount works and where it applies
The 25% Avios saving applies to any Qatar Airways award itinerary that starts or ends in one of the promotional cities. The offer covers First, Business, and Economy class cabins but excludes more expensive Flexi Avios redemptions. The list of eligible routes is split by cabin class.
Singapore is a promotional destination for Economy Class only. The discount applies to both Off-Peak and Peak awards.
Booking rules, fees and partner transfers
Members must book directly through Qatar Airways or by linking their British Airways Executive Club account using the 'Move Avios' feature. Bookings cannot be made on the British Airways website. There is no limit on the number of discounted awards a member can book, and miles can be redeemed for up to 13 people via the My List and Family & Friends features.
Change or cancellation fees are US$25 if made more than 24 hours before departure, rising to US$100 between 3 and 24 hours before departure. Changes are not permitted within 3 hours of departure. Qatar Privilege Club Platinum and Gold tier members have these fees waived. A non-refundable award booking fee applies, scaling with distance up to US$250 one-way, though it is typically refunded if the booking is cancelled.
Several transfer partners are offering bonuses for converting points to Qatar Avios this month. HeyMax provides an instant, fee-free transfer with a bonus of up to 35% depending on the amount converted. Citibank and HSBC are also participating partners, though transfer ratios and fees vary.
Real-world pricing examples show the value
The discount creates tangible savings. A one-way business class flight from Warsaw to Bangkok costs 56,250 Avios after the discount, down from 75,000. A return trip totals 112,500 Avios plus approximately £374 in taxes and charges.
Other examples include Singapore to London Heathrow for 28,125 Avios instead of 37,500, and San Francisco to Singapore for 35,625 Avios instead of 47,500. Additional award segment fees of US$90 or US$125 apply for some itineraries. Flexi redemptions, which cost double the standard Avios rate, are not eligible for this promotion.
Privilege Deals deliver full award benefits
Discounted awards include the same privileges as standard redemptions. This means lounge access where applicable, a 40kg baggage allowance in business class, and priority check-in and boarding. These benefits apply regardless of the promotional discount. Travel must be completed by 30th November.
