New Luxe by Aspire lounge opens at
Aspire has opened a new mid-tier lounge at Birmingham Airport, accessible for £52 or via Priority Pass with a £15 upgrade.

Aspire has opened three new or refurbished lounges at Birmingham Airport, including the mid-tier Luxe by Aspire lounge. The lounge opened in August 2026 and can be booked for £52.
According to a review from Head for Points, the lounge is part of a new complex constructed on the corridor connecting the North and South parts of the terminal. It is about 80 metres from the main Aspire Lounge.
Who can access the lounge?
Luxe by Aspire is a third-party lounge open to passengers on all airlines. Access can be purchased directly. Some airlines also provide access for their premium passengers.
| Access Method | Cost/Details |
|---|---|
| Direct booking | £52 via the Aspire website |
| Priority Pass upgrade | £15 fee payable on arrival at the lounge |
| Airline access | Provided for business class and status passengers on airlines including SAS, Lufthansa, SWISS, and Brussels Airlines |
The review notes that Lufthansa, SWISS, and Brussels Airlines will eventually move their passengers to the standard Aspire Lounge.
Inside the lounge
The lounge is described as a spacious and bright area with seating for 104 guests. It offers a variety of seating options, including a hot-desking table, half-moon booths, armchairs with high tables, and a dining area with banquette seating.
Charging points are reported to be relatively plentiful, with in-floor sockets and plugs under banquettes. The review states that bathrooms are inside the lounge in individual cubicles and that there are no showers. A glass wall separates the Luxe lounge from the higher-end Suite lounge, which the reviewer felt reduced privacy for Suite guests.
Food and drink offering
A self-service buffet called the Pantry is available. The hot breakfast selection includes bacon, sausages, baked beans, hash browns, plum tomatoes, and scrambled eggs, which the reviewer criticised as being very dry and bitty. Pastries and a charcuterie and cheese board are also offered.
For lunch, the hot food is swapped for Sri Lankan chicken curry, rice, margarita rice, and individual portions of risotto. Salads, cheese, and charcuterie remain.
Drinks are available from a bar. Soft drinks and coffee are self-service. Alcohol is available from a bartender. Prosecco (Serenello extra dry) is complimentary, but champagne incurs a charge. A range of spirits, including Jack Daniels, Hennessey, Tanqueray, Bombay Sapphire, and Grey Goose, is available at no extra cost.
The reviewer concluded that the lounge represents decent value, particularly for Priority Pass holders paying the £15 upgrade, due to its stylish fit-out, natural light, and likely lower crowds. They noted the cold food options were stronger than the hot meals after breakfast.
